My Mission

What I Do:

I serve as a full time missionary at the Misión Internacional El Ayudante in Comayagua Honduras ( click here to visit their website). Our mission at El Ayudante is To grow committed followers of Christ by meeting the needs of our community.  And our vision is Changing lives, transforming communities.

In 2013 I felt God calling me to teach and take care of missionary’s children. In 2014 he led me to Honduras where I began working with El Ayudante and providing childcare and schooling for the missionary children there. I now work not only as a teacher, but also as a media coordinator, translator, and as a host for the mission teams that come down to work with us.

It is such a privilege to serve in Honduras, and I feel incredibly honored to be able to do what I do.

El Ayudante is committed to glorify God through intentional relationships and service to our community. We involve the local community in creating their own solutions to the challenges they face everyday physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We aim to empower and not enable by collaborating with families, churches, and local leaders to work as a team to solve the presented needs. We are here for the long term – although we use the energy of short-term missions teams to meet needs, each activity fits into the larger picture of serving our communities where they need it the most. Because of this consistent involvement, a short-term project is part of a lasting, long-term change.

All of this would not be possible without people like you being ministry partners, by providing both prayer and financial support. All the missionaries working with El Ayudante are unpaid volunteers who are supported by those who believe in the work we are doing and wish to come along side us to further the Kingdom in Honduras.

Thank you for your prayers and support! Together we are able to make a difference!
