October

October! The season of Pumpkin Spice, fall leaves, and cool breezes…..well, maybe in some parts of the world, but not here!  Here it has been the season of rain, hot days, cool nights, and lots of activity around Campus!

It has been a wonderful past month filled with lots of different things!

Working with a team translating and taking pictures as we install water filters up in the mountain.

The girls and I cook alot and every time we cook I put on my apron and the girls would always ask to use towels or something as their aprons. So Today we made aprons before cooking. Now we all can cook                                                              in style!

After running a color run put on by one of the local youth organizations to raise money for kids without food.

Homeschooling the girls is going so well. I love being their teacher and watching them learn.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Please continue praying for me and for the mission of El Ayudante as we come to the close of this year.

For the mission:

  •        Our staff/campus dynamics are continually changing so please pray for smooth transitions and  understanding.

For me:

  •  That God would continue to provide financially as I continue fundraising for this next year.
  • That God’s voice would be the only one I listen to as I continue seeking his will and direction.

Many Blessings to all of you!

  1. Oh Corey-Ann, so touched by the sharing of your heart, thoughts, and prayers ! Can easily relate them to the same that I have felt, thought, and prayed in similar circumstances as a nurse and God in His wonderful sovereignty and omnipotence is there all the time! ❤ Praise to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for continuing to remind us of our purpose to love and serve and make Him known!
Love you sister and keep up the good work!
